The Ford Transit Custom was launching with new features & tech. But, unfortunately, from a creative visual perspective, many of the 100+ new elements were under the skin & hidden from view.

The creative team at Ogilvy London approached Lee with a traditional still-life brief of beauty shots. Upon reading the brief & understanding that the new features were hidden, Lee had the idea to reference scenes from the Speilberg movie Close Encounters Of The Third Kind. In the film, light emits from under doors, cracks and crevices, alluding that there is something unseen, mysterious & yet powerful.

Lee pitched this treatment to the Ogilvy team & Ford clients, & thankfully, they loved it!

The project was only possible with the help of the many shoot crew & post productions teams at Digital Giant & Ogilvys in-house.
