Title: Tesla Model X
Role: CGI, Motion + Sound Design, Video editing.
Tools: Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine 5.3, DaVinci Resolve Studio, Adobe Photoshop.
Responding to the 36 Days Of Type brief, Lee created this Telsa film, using the open gull-wing doors on the Model X to create the letter 'X'.
The inspiration for this project came from imagining the folks at Tesla creating an art installation of the gorgeous Model-X in a downtown gallery somewhere in the world.
For this personal project, Lee built the environment inside Cinema 4D, modelling and kit-bashing with other assets. The Tesla is from HUM3D. Quixel decals were added to surfaces to show age, dirt, and wear.
The animation was created inside Unreal, with the Tesla doors, ceiling fans, and camera movement and rendered using the Pathtracer.
