Title: Hyundai Ioniq 5 (Modified)
Role: CGI.
Tools: Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine 5.3, DaVinci Resolve Studio, Adobe Photoshop.
The inspiration for this project came from a commission to photograph the land speed racing at the El Mirage salt flats in California. Lee wanted to create images that portray the beauty of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 in a minimal setting. The colour treatment creates a futuristic feeling. (As the car looks both retro and futuristic)
For this personal project, Lee used Unreal Engine 5.3 to create the scene and rendered it with the Pathtracer. The environment was created inside Unreal Engine, kit-bashing with other assets. The car is from HUM3D. Quixel decals were added to surfaces to show age, dirt & wear.
