Laz The Lion Lazada SEA
Lazada was looking to develop a character that would represent the brand. After initial internal research, Laz The Lion was launched.
The success of this project can be measured by the amazing adoption by Thailands Line community with the Laz the Lion character, quickly amassing over 2.7 million users in the first 24 hours of launching.
My role in the project was to hire an illustrator with experience of producing Line characters. Internally we developed a broad number of characters, which we then proceeded to research and test within Lazadas staff.
Once Laz The Lion was chosen, we commissioned 3 x third party illustrators to design the final character, and then chose the best version.
